How to Upload Your Pet Photo

Getting started with your custom pet oil painting is simple. Follow these steps to ensure your artist captures every detail of your beloved companion.

Step 1: Choose the Right Photo

The quality of your photo directly affects the quality of your painting. Here's what makes a great reference photo:

• Clear and in focus — avoid blurry or pixelated images
• Good lighting — natural daylight works best; avoid harsh flash or dark shadows on your pet's face
• Front-facing or 3/4 angle — so the artist can capture your pet's eyes and expression clearly
• High resolution — at least 1000px on the shortest side; the higher the better
• Recent photo — showing your pet's current appearance

Step 2: Upload Your Photo

After placing your order, you will receive an email with instructions to submit your photo. You can also upload directly via the order confirmation page. Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, HEIC. Maximum file size: 20MB.

Step 3: Add Special Instructions (Optional)

Let us know if you have any preferences — background color, style details, or anything specific you'd like the artist to focus on. The more detail you provide, the better we can personalize your painting.

Step 4: Approval & Production

Once your photo is received, our artist will begin the painting. You'll receive a digital preview for approval before the final piece is shipped. Production typically takes 7–14 business days.

Tips for the Best Results

• Submit multiple photos if available — different angles help the artist
• Avoid heavily filtered or edited photos
• If your pet has passed away, older photos are welcome — just ensure they are as clear as possible
